Use Pen Drive As RAM

  1. Insert your pen-drive. Let your PC read it.(Minimum 2 GB)

  2. Right click on My Computer.
  3. Click on Advanced tab.

  4. Click on Settings under Performance.

  5. Click on Advanced tab.

  6. Click on Change button under Virtual memory.

  7. Select your USB drive.

  8. Click on custom size radio button and give the values as follows;

    • Initial Size:1020
    • Maximum size:1020
    • The size depends upon your free memory capacity of your pen drive. So you can change this limit according to your pen drive size.
  9. Click on Set button, then click on OK.

  10. Now you have to restart the computer with pen-drive inserted. The speed of your computer will be increased.

remove virus with cmd

  1. Go hit start

  2. Than click on Run

  3. In the searchbox type in cmd.exe

  4. When you click on OK a windows should come up Simalar to this:

  5. First, type in the Infected Drive such as for example: dir/p C:

  6. DON'T HIT ENTER YET! Type in the end switch such as s - h *. * /s /d and press ENTER

  7. The command prompt will load all the files in your drive. If you see anything suspicous for example: Autorun.inf or a .exe file. These files you need to watch out for.

  8. If you see the .exe and the autorun.inf than you have just found a tainted file.

  9. Write the prgram name and where the program is located.

  10. Rename the Autorun.inf so you can open it without activating the virus. Rename it as a rar. extension.

  11. Go to start, and double click the My computer icon.

  12. Select the tainted drive, that has the infected file. Find the program directory that contains autorun.inf.

  13. Right-click on the file you renamed "virusfile" and choose "Delete."

     
  14. Right-click on the ".exe" file and choose "Delete." You have now removed the virus from your computer's hard drive.

Make Pendrive Bootable

Requirements:
At least a 4GB USB flash drive
Windows ISO File
Rufus tool software

Process:
Step1: Downlaod rufus tool software
Step2: Connect your usb pendrive and run rufus.exe.
Step3: Select the following setting in rufus:



  • Device: USB(H:)  (THIS IS THE LOCATION OF YOUR USB DEVICE)
  • Partition scheme and target systen type: GPT Partition Scheme For UEFI Computer
  • File System: Fat32    
  • Cluster size: 4096bytes (Default)     
  • Check on: Quick format, create a bootable disk using, and create extended label and icons file.
  • Click on: Small button near. (create a bootable disk using ISO Image) to browse and select windows 7 or windows 8 ISO Files.
  • Click on start
When Task is completed (it may take some time) you will be able to see done in bottom left of rufus task manager. you are now ready with bootable usb pendrive to install windows7 or windows 8.

Now  go to CMOS options of your motherboard by pressing F2 or Del key depending on your brand and under Boot options, make booting from USB drive (it may show the name of your usb pendrive) as the priority. then press F10 and then yes to save and exit. Your laptop will restart and installing process will begin.

4. In the appeared box, type the website address that you want to block or keyword, for example, youtube.com

How to block a website using the Hosts file

The location of the hosts file depends on your operation system.
Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7 C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
Windows 2000  C:\WINNT\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
Note! Make a backup of the hosts file and put it somewhere safe, in case you mess up.
1. Open the hosts file using Notepad or other plain text editor.
2. Find the line 127.0.0.1 localhost
3. To block, for example, the website youtube.com, add this text under 127.0.0.1 localhost:
   127.0.0.1 youtube.com
4. Save and close the Hosts file.
5. Reboot your computer to apply the changes.
6. Try to open www.youtube.com into a browser.


How to block a website on Internet Explorer

1. Open Internet Explorer and click on Tools
2. Click Internet Options
3. Click on the Content tab
4. Click the Enable button
5. Click on the Approved Sites tab
6. Type the website address you want to block in the box, for example, www.youtube.com
7. Click Never and then OK
8. In the appeared window type and confirm your new password
9. Click on the General tab and make sure to select Users can see websites that have no ratings
10. Click OK
